![]() ![]() your mechanic and healer need 3-4 to cover lots of ground in fights. everybody should get to 4 min by end game. i have 1 PC with high luck.Īwareness - ranged hit% and dmg. Luck - closest thing to a dump except it has some really good bonuses, including penetration. every PC needs this stat maxed eventually This game has a really great design in that there are no true dump stats.Ĭoord - this is AP. the new rolls always match your current level so they'll have access to tons of attribute points, skill points and perks. if that doesn't bother you you can roll a new player any time and swap him into your party to change playstyle or try out a new weapon. you get some conditional perks through story events so new rolls don't get those. the first two had some variations of where i finally landed so i definitely know what it's like to screw up and start over. Pros: buffs (cat 6% crit, fox +3m leadership etc.), enemy aggro, decent damage outputĬons: they clog the map, take first turns in combat, can die Optional: for 1 or 2 points/char in animal whisperer you can get several animal followers i've seen people use serial killer here to get multiple attacks/round so that's an option.įae: automatic weapons (smg) - leadership - first aid - bookworm - waste roamer -optional add weird science on this char for tanky gearįollowers fill out my social/survival skills: fire synergy w/ late game weapons melts enemies. Ogre: heavy weapons - explosives - toaster repair - disciple of the metal - pyromaniac - optional mid-game add weird science for gear/perk synergy. mobile, sets turrets, destroys enemy turrets, low ap attacks, bonus ap from kills ![]() Goblin: small arms - mechanic - nerd stuff - serial killer - vicious avenger ![]() Ghost: sniper - sneaky shit - lockpicking - goat killer - sadomasochist everything else is your choice (i've read that bladed is the best melee but i don't use it so i don't have an opinion). skill synergy for perks and backgrounds + quirks are key. you can then build 4 custom rangers when you get to your base after the intro. they have unique utility items that are useful through late game. Other than that good luck and if you are looking for a bit of a challenge play on one of the harder difficulties, the base level game is actually quite easy. The other companions you can figure out as you play but I want to say that barter level 7 and it's perk as well as lockpicking are imo the most important skills to level first as the rest of the game you won't need to worry about money. But as for a team of rangers I'd probably go with a sniper with maybe sneak and explosives for starting fights with a rocket launcher, a character with leadership and maybe assault weapons, a melee/brawler character with medic or another skill, and a dedicated like hacker/mechanic with small arms. Also you can create a weapon and armor smith character that you just leave at base and can swap with to do any modding you want so you can spend more points on other characters. Like 4 skills max on most characters and maybe throw in some points in things like weird science if you want a bit more "elemental" damage or animal companions if you want a few more animals. You can respec 4 of the characters you create at anytime even the first two. ![]()
